I loved this book and stayed in my room for nearly three days reading it. It is about a robot called Roz who wakes up one day on an island with no idea of how she got there. A bunch of scary things happen as not everyone on the island is friendly towards her. I don't want to give too much away but I liked this book as it made me think about robotS and nature and how they would not have a clue. In so many ways humans are way ahead of robots but this book make me think maybe they could catch up with us. I loved Roz and I did not want the book to end.

I loved this book. The illustrations are beautiful. Alice is the girl with no nose. It is set in the Victorian era. Children had to work as chimney sweeps and tannery's they were treated very badly and then Alice became their friend and was very kind to them. Alice was lonely growing up but in the end she meets someone just like her. Alice makes lots of friends along the way but not everyone appreciated her.

(THIS BOOK IS SET IN WORLD WAR 2)This book, by Irish author John Boyne, is about a boy called Bruno who lives in Berlin (Germany) in a very nice, luxurious house with his parents, his sister Gretel and Maria "The maid". One day when he comes home from school, he discovers Maria packing all his belongings in crates. That’s because Bruno’s dad got the job of Commandant by Adolf Hitler so he needed to be closer to his work. That’s why they moved house to Poland in a house called Out-With the following week.Bruno is extremely upset about the consequences and one day he decides to go exploring in his back garden even if it’s "Out-of-Bounds.All he found was a wire fence and a boy (jew) called Shmuel in gray striped pyjamas sitting right next to it.They have a chat and find out that they share the same birthday date and they are both 9 years old.Bruno also asks Shmuel why all the people behind the wire fence are all wearing striped pijamas... From that day Bruno and Shmuel have little meetings every afternoon..... I don’t want to spoil the end for you :)

I highly recommend this book to children between 10-12 years old.

Enjoy:)))))

P.S: Read the book first and then watch the movie:)
